Support plans are structured around an annual commitment, with monthly billing available for flexibility. New qualifying installations may include the Essential Care tier for the first year — giving clients immediate access to ongoing care and update oversight from day one.

After that included period, support continues through a paid plan at the selected tier. All plans provide priority access over non-plan service requests. Response times, included services, and scheduled care scale with the tier selected.

Is the first support tier really included for free?

For qualifying new installations, SetupTeam may include the Essential Care plan for the first year. This gives clients continued access to support and update oversight after installation. After the included period ends, support can continue through a paid annual or monthly plan.

Do I have to pay annually?

Annual commitment is preferred and provides the equivalent of 2 months free compared to monthly billing. Monthly payment options are also available for all approved plan tiers.

Do these plans include onsite service?

The Essential Care plan does not include onsite labour, but provides preferred access to the first available appointment. Priority Care includes up to 50% discount on onsite labour for up to four service calls per year. Premium Care includes four onsite visits annually at no additional labour charge.

What systems can be covered under a support plan?

Coverage depends on the plan and the systems involved. In most cases, SetupTeam support plans apply to systems sold, installed, or approved by SetupTeam — including Wi-Fi and networking, Sonos, home theatre, security cameras, and home automation systems.

Do you support systems installed by someone else?

In some cases, yes. Third-party systems may need to be reviewed before they can be included under a plan. Unsupported or unstable systems may be excluded. Contact SetupTeam to discuss your specific environment.

What happens if I need work that falls outside the plan?

Any work outside the included support scope is quoted separately. This includes new installations, expansions, major reconfiguration, hardware replacement, electrical work, and other non-covered labour.

Do you guarantee same-day service?

No fixed same-day guarantee should be assumed unless specifically confirmed in writing. Priority levels are based on the plan selected. Premium Care targets a 24-hour turnaround during business days, and Priority Care targets 72 hours.

Why not just call when something breaks?

Reactive service works for occasional issues, but support plans create a more structured system for updates, troubleshooting, and priority access. That usually leads to faster help, better continuity, and fewer missed maintenance issues over time.

How quickly does SetupTeam respond to support requests?

Response times vary by plan tier. Essential Care clients receive priority over non-plan service requests. Priority Care targets a 72-hour turnaround and Premium Care targets 24 hours, both during regular business days.
