Shifts or loosens — we come back at no charge
We confirm the wall type before drilling. Not after.
Before any anchor goes in, we identify the framing. Metal stud, wood stud, or masonry — each needs different hardware, and the wrong choice results in a mount that looks solid and isn’t. We carry toggle bolts, snap toggles, wood lag screws, and masonry anchors on every job. The wall gets confirmed first. That’s not an extra step — it’s the step most installers skip.
Our installers are Sonos-trained and Control4-certified. Soundbars that won’t pair, HDMI connections that drop, Wi-Fi signal that disappears after mounting flush to the wall — we diagnose and resolve in the same visit. $2,000,000 liability insurance and full WSIB on every job. All cables and hardware on the truck. We don’t leave until everything works.
We also handle Sonos installation and support, Wi-Fi troubleshooting and network upgrades, home cinema builds, and Control4 smart home programming — often in the same visit.

What to expect when you book.
You tell us the home type
Newer build or older home, wall type if known, TV size, and whether you want audio or cable work. We price it clearly before booking.
We confirm the framing
On arrival we identify whether it’s metal stud, wood stud, or masonry — each needs different anchors. We don’t assume.
We plan the cable route
For open-concept rooms or longer runs, we map the cable path before anything is cut. No surprises once we’re inside the wall.
Finished and working
TV level, audio connected, cables hidden. Everything tested before we pack up.

The right installation approach depends on the neighbourhood and build year. Here’s what changes.
Metal stud in newer subdivisions
Most homes in newer subdivisions here use metal stud framing on interior walls. Toggle bolts grip from inside the cavity; standard wood screws don’t engage the material at all. We confirm framing before every job and carry appropriate anchors for metal stud, wood stud, and solid masonry.
Open-concept layouts and cable routing
Open-concept great rooms are the norm in newer builds, and the TV wall is often on the opposite side of the room from the equipment cabinet. That means running HDMI and power cables through wall cavities, across ceiling joists, or below flooring. We plan the full route before starting — surprises in the middle of a cable run are expensive.
Older Aurora homes and wood stud
Homes along Yonge Street and in the historic core, built in the 1970s and 80s, are wood stud with standard drywall. Straightforward for mounting and in-wall cable runs. Some have narrower wall cavities than modern construction, which can limit options for thicker cable bundles.
Renovation and pre-drywall timing
Aurora sees frequent renovation activity — kitchens, basements, and home offices being updated. If drywall is still open, we can run low-voltage cable for TV, in-ceiling speakers, and structured data at a fraction of the cost of retrofitting later. A conversation now saves significant money post-renovation.

Frame TV above fireplace — Aurora newer build
Metal stud wall confirmed before drilling. Slim Fit mount installed with snap toggle anchors rated to 80kg. One Connect cable routed through a painted surface channel along the fireplace breast. Heat clearance measured at 18 inches above the firebox. Art Mode set up before leaving.
Questions Aurora homeowners ask before booking.
Metal stud needs toggle bolts or snap toggle anchors — they expand behind the stud wall and grip the interior face. Standard wood screws spin freely in metal stud and don’t hold. We carry both on every truck and confirm the framing type before drilling. The result is as solid as a wood stud mount when done correctly.
Yes. We route HDMI and low-voltage cables through wall cavities, across ceiling joists, and to the equipment location. The full route is planned before anything is cut. Depending on the floor plan, runs of 8–15 feet through Aurora newer builds are typical. We bring the right cable lengths and access tools.
Yes — and this is the ideal time. We run low-voltage conduit and cable for TV locations, in-ceiling speakers, and data ports before the walls close. It’s significantly less expensive and cleaner than fishing walls after the fact. If you can give us a few days’ notice, we’ll coordinate with your contractor.
Yes. We confirm heat clearance from the firebox, attach the Slim Fit mount with snap toggle anchors rated to the TV’s weight, and route the One Connect cable along the fireplace breast in a painted surface channel. Art Mode is configured before we leave. We do this regularly in Aurora’s newer subdivisions.
Yes. Sonos soundbar wall-mounted at the correct height, HDMI eARC connected and calibrated, and rear speaker wire fished through walls for full surround. As a Sonos Gold Dealer we carry Arc, Beam, Ray, and Era speakers. TV, soundbar, and rears — one visit, fully finished and tested.
Not at all — wood stud is the easiest of the three. Standard lag screws into the stud centres, and we confirm stud spacing with a sensor before marking. In-wall cable runs are typically cleaner in older wood stud walls because the cavities are consistent. The main watch-out in older homes is narrower cavities that limit bundled cable runs.
For standard residential jobs — single-room TV mount, with or without soundbar — we can often fit same-day appointments when called before noon on weekdays. We confirm availability when you call, give a realistic 2-hour arrival window, and carry everything needed. No parts runs, no follow-up visits.
Standard drywall or metal stud mount with your own bracket from $169.99. All-in package — tilt mount, anchors, and wire concealment for TVs up to 65 inches — is $299.99 on standard walls. Frame TV installation from $199.99. Pre-wiring during a renovation is quoted separately based on the number of TV and speaker locations and how much wall is still open.
Yes. HDMI ARC handshake failures, input switching problems, Sonos dropouts, and Wi-Fi interference near mounted TVs — these are all things we diagnose and resolve. We charge a flat diagnostic rate when we didn’t do the original install. If we installed it and something’s wrong, we come back at no charge.
Yes. $2,000,000 liability insurance, full WSIB coverage, fully licensed contractor. Insurance certificates are available before booking — occasionally required by home builders during warranty periods or by property managers in condo townhomes.
