What does Arc Ultra do for your home?
It turns the flat, thin sound coming off your TV's own speakers into a full soundstage that fills the room from one bar. Sonos built it around Sound Motion, a new driver design that packs more bass into a slimmer cabinet, with strong built-in bass for larger living rooms and room to add a Sub and rear speakers later.

What does SetupTeam do when we install your soundbar?
Every order follows our standard Sonos installation process, tailored to a soundbar: we walk the room with you, decide on placement, run and conceal the cable, then tune the soundbar to your space before we leave.
Placement
We walk the room with you and decide between wall-mounted directly under the TV or set on a console, based on your furniture and how the space is used.
Wiring
We run the HDMI cable from the TV's HDMI-ARC or HDMI-eARC input to the soundbar, and if the TV is wall-mounted, we route the HDMI cable inside the wall and bring power through a code-compliant in-wall power kit, so nothing hangs down the drywall.
Wall mounting
If your TV is on the wall, our TV wall mounting team fits the soundbar tight to the wall below it and finishes the cable path so the bar reads as one clean line under the screen.
Cabinet or console
If the bar sits on furniture instead, we position it for the cleanest sightline to the seating area and manage the cable run behind the console.
Tuning
Once it is connected, we run Trueplay tuning in the Sonos app so it adjusts its sound to your room's size, furniture and wall surfaces.

What does an Arc Ultra with installation cost?
Arc Ultra is $1,449 through SetupTeam, an authorized Sonos Gold Dealer — the regular Sonos price — with free delivery across the GTA.
Setup and installation are two different things. Setup — unboxing, connecting it to your Sonos app and Wi-Fi, and Trueplay tuning — is free once your Sonos hardware order reaches $1,500; adding any other Sonos product to the order, such as a Sub, typically gets you there. Bought on its own, it falls under that threshold, so setup is $150; add a Sub or other Sonos gear to reach $1,500 and setup is free. At $3,000 in hardware you also get a $150 install credit, valid for 12 months.
Installation labour — wall mounting the soundbar, running or concealing HDMI and power cable, and any wiring behind drywall — is quoted after photos or a site visit, because every wall and TV setup is different, and is 25% off when it is bought here, with a $200 minimum visit.

Will it work with what you already own?
It connects to a TV through an HDMI-ARC input, and needs HDMI-eARC if you want the highest-quality Dolby Atmos formats — we check your TV's inputs before the visit so there are no surprises on install day.
It pairs with a Sonos Sub 4 or an earlier-generation Sonos Sub, and Sonos even supports running two subwoofers together for larger rooms. It also works with compatible Sonos surround speakers so you can build out to full rear-channel sound later. If you already own Sonos speakers anywhere in the house, it joins them in the same Sonos app, so you are not starting a second system.
