TV wall mounting, soundbar installation, Samsung Frame TV, and in-wall cable work across Markham. Party walls, metal stud, wood stud — correct anchor for every construction type. Same-day frequently available.
A stud finder reads a party wall as solid — because it mostly is. But double-layer drywall with a resilient channel between the units has different anchor depth, different cavity dimensions, and different load characteristics than a standard single-layer wall. We probe before placing any anchor, confirm available depth, and select hardware that matches what's actually there. Same process for metal stud in newer builds: toggle bolts grip from inside the cavity. Wood screws don't engage the material at all.
Sonos-trained, Control4-certified, $2,000,000 liability insurance, full WSIB. All hardware on every truck — toggle bolts, snap toggles, wood lag screws, HDMI cables, power cords, soundbar mounts. Markham is one of our highest-volume service areas, which means same-day is more consistently available here than in most GTA cities.
We also handle Sonos installation, Wi-Fi and networking, home cinema, and Control4.

Markham's density and variety of home types create specific installation conditions that differ by neighbourhood.
Party walls in townhomes here are double-layer drywall assemblies — not the same as a single-stud drywall wall. We probe the wall before placing anchors to confirm depth and construction. In most cases, standard 3-inch screws into studs work fine. In some assemblies, the stud framing is further from the surface than expected.
Newer subdivisions in this city are predominantly metal stud framing. Toggle bolts are required — standard wood screws don't engage the material. We carry snap toggles and hollow-wall anchors rated to load requirements on every truck and confirm framing before drilling.
Older parts of the city — Unionville, Milliken, and streets off McCowan Road — are mostly wood stud construction from the 1970s–90s. Straightforward mounting and in-wall cable runs. Stud spacing confirmed before marking, standard lag screws used through drywall into stud centres.
This is one of our highest-volume service areas. That volume translates to experience — more wall types, more fireplace configurations, more party wall assemblies assessed than in any other GTA city. It also means same-day availability is more consistent here than in lower-volume areas.
Metal stud framing identified on arrival. Snap toggle anchors selected for the load requirement, heat clearance from the firebox measured before drilling, cable run planned end-to-end before the first hole.

Yes. Party walls in townhomes here are double-layer drywall assemblies — we probe the wall before placing anchors to confirm depth and framing. In most cases standard stud-and-screw mounting works fine. Where the stud framing is further from the surface than expected, we use anchors rated for the available depth.
Toggle bolts and snap toggle anchors — they expand behind the wall face and grip from the inside. Standard wood screws don't engage metal stud at all. We carry toggle hardware in multiple sizes on every truck and confirm framing type before drilling anything. The result is as solid as a wood stud mount.
Yes — above-fireplace Frame TV mounts are one of the most common jobs in this area. We check heat clearance from the firebox, attach the Slim Fit mount with anchors appropriate for the wall type, and route the One Connect cable along the fireplace breast in a surface channel or through the wall where the cavity allows. Art Mode configured before we leave.
Yes. Soundbar mounted at the correct height below the TV, connected via HDMI eARC and calibrated, all cables concealed in-wall or in a surface channel. As a Sonos Gold Dealer we carry Arc, Beam, and Ray on every truck. Other brands are also installed and configured. One visit, fully finished.
Cable runs through party walls are done carefully — we confirm that we're drilling into the correct unit's wall assembly and not into the shared cavity. Horizontal runs through party walls are sometimes limited by the double-drywall construction. In most cases we can route cables up through the wall cavity to reach equipment on the same side as the TV.
Yes. HDMI-CEC handles the TV-remote-controls-soundbar scenario automatically once connected through HDMI ARC. We configure it, test it, and ensure it works before leaving. For multi-device setups with a receiver or multiple source inputs, we configure input switching and, where needed, set up a Control4 or universal remote solution.
Yes, significantly. Wood stud with standard drywall is the easiest installation scenario. Standard 3-inch lag screws into stud centres, clean in-wall cable runs with consistent cavity dimensions. In-wall power kits sit flush without complications. The watch-out in older homes is confirming stud spacing — older construction isn't always at the standard 16-inch centres.
Standard drywall mount with your own bracket from $169.99. All-in package — tilt mount, wire concealment up to 65 inches — is $299.99. Frame TV installation from $199.99. Soundbar, above-fireplace, and in-wall cable runs are each quoted based on scope. No add-ons on the day.
This is one of our highest-volume service areas. Same-day availability is more consistent here than almost anywhere else in the GTA — if you call before noon on a weekday, a same-day appointment is frequently possible. Next-day is almost always available. Call or message with your details and we'll confirm.
