Access, mostly. A production-built townhouse or semi in Woodbridge has predictable stacks, a shallow basement ceiling, and a builder-installed wiring panel in a spot we can guess before we walk in. A custom Kleinburg house has none of that in the same place twice, so the route survey takes longer and the runs finish further from the rack.

Usually the switch and the panel both. A builder-installed panel with six ports will not take another eight drops, and the unmanaged switch sitting inside it will not carry PoE for new Wi-Fi optimization in Vaughan hardware.
