Can you add drops and access points to a business that is still open?
Yes, and that is most of the commercial work we take. Offices around the Airport Corporate Centre, Streetsville professional suites and Erin Mills medical buildings rarely have a construction window to hand us. We fish above the existing ceiling grid, drop into partition walls, and move the disruptive work outside your hours so the space opens as normal the next morning. Adding Drops to a Working Suite
Cat6/Cat6A home-runs to the desks and rooms the original wiring missed, fished above the existing ceiling tile and down partition walls. Patch panel termination, rack work and labelled documentation, with no drywall coming off in an area people are using.

How does a townhome retrofit differ from a condo suite near Square One?
The townhome problem is vertical and the condo problem is lateral. In a Churchill Meadows or Erin Mills townhome the office sits one or two floors above the router, so we pull a home-run up an interior partition or a furnace chase to a desk jack, plus a ceiling access point on its own drop. In a suite near Square One the floor plate is concrete, nothing gets fished, and the cable travels sideways in a baseboard raceway from the in-suite utility closet. Same cable, two different days of work, and Wi-Fi optimization in Mississauga starts from the wire in both.
The Office One Floor Above the Router
A wired drop at the desk and a ceiling access point on a short Cat6 run beat any mesh node standing in the same room. In a Churchill Meadows or Erin Mills townhome the router sits by the front door on the ground floor and the office is on the third, with a furnace chase and two floor assemblies in between. We fish the run through that chase or a closet stack, land it on a flush plate behind the desk, and put the access point on the middle-floor ceiling where it covers both levels. Condo work follows another path. Building access rules apply, so we walk the suite and the corridor before quoting and say plainly whether a concealed route exists.
Patio and Backyard Audio & Wi-Fi
We do most of our outdoor low-voltage work in Port Credit and Lakeview. Speaker runs and exterior access-point drops go through an existing soffit, along a fence line or under a finished deck, which is how most of them reach the yard. If a landscaping or deck project is already underway, the same runs cost far less, so ask us before the interlock goes down. We pull Sonos installation in Mississauga-ready speaker cable and exterior AP drops on one visit. Clarkson and Mineola follow the same logic.
What does all that cable terminate into at the rack?
A labelled patch panel, a managed PoE switch sized to the real device count, and an edge firewall ahead of both. The wiring is only as useful as what it lands on, so we build the rack with proper cable management and leave space for what gets added next year. PoE ports power the access points, cameras and desk phones from one place. On a Wi-Fi optimization call, this layer is usually where the problem sits.

What did an occupied Erin Mills office retrofit involve?
A professional services office near the Erin Mills corridor called during a suite refresh, with wiring that had been added to for years: unlabelled runs, mismatched patch cabling and no network map anyone trusted. The scope was fresh Cat6A home-runs to each workstation and two meeting rooms, a clean rack with a labelled patch panel, and VLAN separation between staff data, video conferencing and guest Wi-Fi. The suite stayed in use throughout.
Evening and weekend work kept the office running. Building management wanted the ceiling grid closed and the floor swept before each morning, so we scoped one zone per night instead of opening the whole suite at once. The office now runs on a documented, rack-organised network with room to grow, and nobody guesses when the next desk gets added.
